Keeping Europe's business head above the water

UN report predicts a five-fold increase in losses from flooding in Europe

According to the United Nations’ disaster reduction agency, the UNISDR, over 80% of current disaster losses are caused by weather related hazards that are set to increase in frequency and intensity as a result of climate change.

Nevertheless, disasters are something that we can prevent or, at least, their impact can be minimised. Remaining diligent and resilient is a global concern, and it is believed that international coordination and the sharing of experiences and knowledge in best practices will minimise loss.
