After much anticipation and speculation about the proposed personal injury reforms, on 23 February 2017 the government finally announced part 1 of the outcome of the consultation.
DAS' Group Director of Underwriting, Claims and Reinsurance, Matt Frost and Head of Personal Injury at DAS Law, Samantha Brown, have responded by writing a whitepaper which outlines:
• The MoJ's confirmed changes to the personal injury claims process.
• The challenges facing the Motor Legal Expenses Insurance market and injured parties.
• Potential scenarios that injured parties could find themselves in.
• The problems with using economic exclusions in Legal Expenses Insurance.
If you have any questions about DAS' motor proposition and how it is responding to the reforms please get in touch.
